Room keys for pool

I've been asked for a room key at SAB. Some of the hotels in Vegas go so far as to swipe the room key to make sure it's not an old key.

I suspect a family of 4 who ask nicely will be given permission to have one family member as a guest 99% of the time BUT

that's not what the OP asked, re-read the post. OP said he wasn't going to pool hop but wanted to know if every member of the party had to show a room key.

Asking if he could get away with sneaking in is exactly the question that was asked.

The OP wanted to know if he/she could swim with his/her neices and nephews one afternoon. Perhaps the OP could have worded it better, but man can we just answer a question here anymore without calling people a sneak or a liar???

The answer to the question "in my experience" during 3 stays at the Beach Club, the most recent was 2/05 is we needed a key for every person.

The original poster asked:

if I want to join them at SAB, how many keys will we have to show? Is one sufficent?

and also stated
I am by no means suggesting pool hopping

This implies a person who knows the rules and is asking if they'll get caught. Asking if he can get away with sneaking in is the exact question that was asked.

LewisC, I don't know how often you go to WDW but it obviously is not enough as I don't see a drop of Disney magic in you. Just about everytime I see you post, it is usually something snide or rude. Get your panties out of a knot dude. Life is too short.

To the OP, like Sammie said...just ask the front desk at the resort. They are the final word on the matter and not these holier than thou yahoos on the forum. Good luck.

I'm going to lock this thread now. This is the same debate that comes up everytime someone brings up pool hopping.

It is clearly posted at each Disney pool that the pools are for the enjoyment of guests at that resort. We all know that is the official Disney rule on the subject.

Please remember that personal attacks are not welcome on the DIS.
