Why is it that the only way you can have your park tickets put on your room key is if you are doing a Length of Stay Pass? We are going for 6 days and staying at CSR and we were told that we could not have our tickets put onto our room key.

It's not that big of a deal I just like the ease of just having to carry one card. That way I don't have to worry about loosing my ticket.

We stayed at WL Concierge in October and only bought 2 day/2 park tickets and they put them directly on our room key after a few clicks of the computer.

Does this help?

I don't think it was only available to concierge people. Can't they put all types of tickets on your room key (besides AP's)?

Last I spoke to CRO, I was told that they would only put the UPH tickets on room keys and they had to be bought at the resort desk upon check in.

Well there's your problem right there. Where does that CRO person think they put UPH's that you order (from CRO no less!) in advance? On spaghetti maybe? ;)

You can have any ticket you purchase at resort check in encoded on your resort ID.

You cannot have any existing pre-purchased (TDS, DC, 407-WDISNEY, Ticketmania, etc) ticket transferred to your resort ID.

Imagine my surprise when He said that!!! This must have been one of those 200 or so new CM that mousesavers mentioned.

I have had friends who've told me it wasn't an easy request and that the cm at the desk didn't want to do it. But after some pressure they did. And that was with tickets bought at check in.

I bought an Ap so this isn't an issue for me.

We've had 5 day Parkhoppers purchased at check-in put on our room key card at least a dozen times in the past 8-10 years [time flies when you're having fun at Disney, so I'm not real sure of the timeframe]. We've never had anyone be unwilling or unable to do it. Once (in the old days of MKC), I forgot to ask for the discount and the CM cheerfully re-coded my card with the discounted hopper.

I just don't understand the difficulty. If they can put the UPHP's on them why not any pass? I don't know. We are going for a wedding in May and I have to pre-order the tickets. I was hoping that by just calling and telling them which pass I want they could put it with my resssies and when we got there have it all added to my room key. It's a nice convenience, but it's not going to make cry. Well maybe......... :(
