We are considering letting our teenagers head out alone for a bit in the parks. Our concern is that they may lose their room key (staying at RPH, so they will need them for fast passes). Any tips on that? Thanks! :confused3

Buy them cargo pants that have velcro pockets.

Have the front desk punch a hole in them and then they can wear them attached to a key ring or around the neck on a lanyard. If they do lose them.. no big deal..they can be replaced.. just a time annoyance to go to guest services to take care of it.... But as they are their Gold Cards to the Front of the line.. I am sure they will hold onto them with their lives!!! LOL!!

Thanks for the replies. I was hoping we could punch a hole in them and have them wear them around their neck, as you suggested.

You can buy laynards that have a plastic pouch for them. I keep my keys in my fanny pack.

Remember to only flash your keys for Universal Express access. You might get arrested if you flash something else.

Our sons (16 & 19 now) have managed the past two years to hold on to their passes and room keys with no problem. I agee with Valentine. They may misplace their own shoes, but they will hang on to that room key for dear life!

When we were there in June, my 10yo was insistent on holding on to his own room key, even though we were doing rides together.

yep, you guessed it, he lost it after the first ride!

They just let him in with me, on my key to the rest of the rides.

When we went back to the RPH later on, they gave him another one. It took about 3 seconds.
