My family of 5 is travelling with my DM and 2 DB. If we add the dining package to our room, do we get paper vouchers or is it all located on our room key? The reason I am concerned is because there will be days when my family returns to the parks for dinner, but my mom will need to stay back with my special needs brother. We would want to take the other sibling with us to the park and for dinner. If my mom needed to get dinner for her and 1 sibling, what would we do with for other brother's dining plans?

I believe that the dining package is on your room key......that is what I have been told by others... I have not done it, but hope I am giving the correct info.

Anyone??

We haven't done the new plan but used to always do the Gold Key, Deluxe Magic, etc. plans. And yes, it's all on your keys.

You'll have no trouble doing what you have planned. The brother with you can use his key for his meal while your mom uses hers for your other brother and herself. The giant WDW computer in the sky will just keep track of it all. ;)

We (3 adults) used the Dining Plan in October and it was encoded on our room key. Each person had the total credits on each key. Any of us could have used it and that number of credits was deducted from the total for us 3.
So I believe that anyone can use it from anywhere at anytime. The computer deducts and tracks the credits.
I hope this helps.
Have a great trip.
