Room Internet?

Heading out for my first DVC stay at WDW, but confused about Internet service.

I will be staying at BCV. I understand that DVC members get free Internet, but I saw on a blog that I need to take a router for my iPad. I also saw online that BCV has wifi.

Could somebody please confirm whether I need a router or if wifi is available?

I agree. We were waiting in the lobby after checking in and I picked up a WIFI signal in the lobby, but it kept dropping out, so it was not reliable.

Add me to the list that takes my own small travel router. Works great!

I think I'm going to invest in one of those apple accessories called an "AirPort". You should be able to plug it into the hotel Ethernet in the room and it creates a wifi hotspot in the room. We'll see how it works because I want to bring my iPad too!

I purchased one of these a few years ago and have used it at all the resorts. It works great and handles all of our devices simultaneously with no problems.

I use an Airport Express and it works fine and is easy to carry. Just be sure to configure it at home so you will be all set when you get to WDW.
