Room for Veterans Weekend

I've checked the wdw website to find a room for a last minute trip for Veterans weekend. The only thing available is Deluxe (Boardwalk/Yacht club) for 452. Any chance of getting something cheaper on property? What about Swan/Dolphin. Do you think something might open up or do we book hoping the rates dont get higher.

I should say this is for my 20 year old daughter so the 452 is a bit steep. She is traveling solo so we would like for her to be on property if at all possible. She isnt a resort snob, just wanting to get away for the weekend...............and of course as economical as possible.

Probably not. You can look on Orbitz or Hotels.com, but a holiday weekend is a popular date and it is last minute.

The Disney Springs hotels will be cheaper if there is availability. They won't offer the same onsite perks you get with WDW resorts, but they offer park transportation.

If your dates are slightly flexible, it looks like some values are available for Nov. 12 - 14.

What are your dates? I just checked Nov. 11-14 and I am getting Pop Century for $135, Coronado Springs for $292, and cabins at FW for $373 in addition to the deluxe you mentioned.
