Room for air mattresses?

Hi- I'm almost an owner- sent paperwork and check yesterday.... I'm trying to plan my first DVC trip which will be this July. I know I may have slim pickings but we are flexible... It will be myself and two sons ages 12 and 13. I know we will be most comfortable in a 1 bedroom but since this is a late booking and I have a small contract, I may need to book a studio.. The boys do NOT sleep together and given their "puberty"status, I'm not really comfortabel sharing a bed with either one right now.. So, will a twin air mattrress fit in a studio anywhere? Which resort would we be the most comfy?

Probably the only studios large enough to accomodate a twin sized air mattress would be OKW. But it will be tight. Keep your fingers crossed for a 1BR! haha

I hope you find something available. I called this morning for one night, Sat May 23, and they only had one bedroom villas (very limited number) at BWV and SSR. No studios. I know that's two weeks out, but it may be tough for July, too.

I think you can fit a twin sized air mattress in the bathroom area. Or maybe even at the foot of the sleeper sofa if you move the table a bit.

Yes....plenty of room, just move the table a little and stand the air mattress up when not in use.

Traveling with myself 12 year old boy and two 17 year old boys we fit an air mattress in the POP, POR and BCV studios. It wasn't that bad in any of them.

We have a boy and a girl, so we always have to take an air mattress. I've been able to fit it in every room, even the small AKV rooms. I move the table over usually and the mattress fits at the end of the pull out sofa. Or we put it between the sofa and the bed. And during the day, we lean it up against the wall so we can walk around.

We've done it as well. We also used it at PoP, it was a little tight in the Value room, but it worked.

Funny i joined DVC so i wouldnt need to bring air mattresses anymore..
