room for 5

Well if one of your adults is really short then maybe POR in Alligator Bayou as they have a trundle bed. Don't laugh as I had a neighbor do this about 3-4 years ago and they said it worked out fine. Other than that I do not know any other Value or Moderate that can accomodate five. I imagine the CR or GF probably has rooms for 5 but I am not sure of that though.

the floridian is a 5 adult room resort. i'm not 100% sure it may be the only one. we stay there and its great. 2 huge beds and the couch is a great size. you can also request a "cot" which is actually a full size twin bed!

I know that you can accomodate 5 people in the Dolphin if you get a rollaway - not sure if it is 5 adults, but you could ask. The rooms are a pretty nice size and you can fold up the rollaway when it is not in use.

All of the deluxe's except for the WL & AKL can fit 5. They have a day bed for the 5th person. The CR has the largest sf room of them all. The day bed will not fit a very large adult. I am 5'6 & within the norm as far as my weight & I can fit on it...my husband is nearly 6' and norm for his height & weight...and wouldn't be comfortable on the day bed.

If these are 5 adults who do not want to share beds, what about the Fort Wilderness Cabins. There is a set of single bunk beds, a double bed and a double murphy bed. There is also a full size sofa(not a sofa bed) that someone could sleep on if no one wanted to be in the same beds. You also get a full size refrigerator & a housekeeper to do the dishes. There would be 2 distinct rooms that way also.

You could also get 2 rooms at All Stars or Pop Century. Then 4 beds and 2 bathrooms and only 1 extra adult fee.

It does cost more when you have more than 2 adults in a room as I recall. For the moderates I believe it's an additional $15/adullt/night and Deluxes it's $25 (you might check these $ when you make your reservation). At the moderates at least, if might not be much more for 2 rooms especially if you get a good discount...

The AKL can accomidate 5 in a room in what is called a "deluxe room, although it is set up more for a family. 1 queen, 1 set of bunk beds and 1 "daybed" (twin size). - this is more pricey that a regular room. - in the mid 300's.

The WL also has a limited # of rooms that can sleep 5. There, it is refered to as a "Jr. Suite"
It has a pair of queens in the bedroom and a pullout queen couch in the "living room". This alternative is even more pricey. +/- 400's.

Hope this info helps you out.

how about adjoining rooms at a value or moderate plenty of room and a spare bathroom. Aside from that the CR and Poly have very large rooms and day beds. maddy

i'd suggest two rooms at a value if you are looking to save $... second choice would be two rooms at a moderate... for five adults, imo, two bathrooms is a must-have! (and so is two tv's!)

There are many choices as listed above with rooms for 5 to sleep, however, it may be worth while looking into getting connecting rooms at a value or mod resort. You would have more room to spread out and have 2 bathrooms.

FYI
The Daybeds at the BWI are too small for a person to sleep on. They are more like a small couch. However,we have done 5 at the POLY many times and its always been comfortable.
Have fun!

Keep in mind that there will be an extra charge for each adult above and beyond 2 adults. The charge varies, but I think it is $10/night per adult at value resorts, $15 at mod, and $25 at deluxe. That can really add up for 3 extra adults per room. Of course even if you get adjoining rooms you'd still have the extra adult charge for one room, but only for 1 person and you'd then have the extra beds, and two bathrooms.

T&B

With the extra adult fee, you're going to pay more in one room at a deluxe than you will in two rooms at a value and probably in two rooms at a moderate. Your cheapest option is usually two rooms at a value resort. The next cheapest is either two moderate rooms or one FW cabin -- there's an extra adult fee there, too, but it is much smaller.

When we went several years ago, with 5 adults, we priced it out and decided that 2 adjoining rooms at Caribbean Beach were a MUCH better choice than smashing us all in 1 deluxe, and it ended up being CHEAPER.

SO SO SO nice to have 2 bathrooms, extra beds, extra room in case someone was sick or wanted to sleep, 2 tvs, etc.
