Room discounts for school band?

I posted a similar thread over on the Theme Parks board, but will repeat here. My son's school band is thinking of going to WDW in April 2007 to attend a band clinic. My children and I have made about 15 trips to WDW, are DVC members, and AP holders, but I have no idea about possible discounts for school groups. I would hope that there would be. I'm interested in information about the All Stars Resorts or Pop Century. Does anyone have any experience with this? Thanks!

Do they have a group sales dept. for this. I know my ds just went on his senior trip and they booked something that included food vouchers and they had a whole block of rooms at the all star sports for the group. Good luck.I do know that one of the teachers had to personally call the manager of one of the restraunts, I think donalds at ak or whispering canyon to get that reservation for like 40 plus people at once. They had a good time. If you plan well things should be great.

I can't say for sure on school's but I know when my son's baseball team went, it was cheaper for me not to do their package..my room only as AP holder worked out much cheaper.... then again, that was a baseball package....not for a school
