Room discounts blacked-out during "Jersey Week"?

Hi all! We are not from New Jersey but our school has off on Election Day so we booked a trip to Disney for that week. Also it was really important to us to do Food and Wine and also MVMCP so it really worked out!

However, we are counting on a room discount and I have read that Disney doesn't offer discounts during that week. Does anyone know if its just free dining that is blacked out or if that includes room discounts as well?

That is the same week we are going. I ended up booking with a travel agency that does agency exclusives and was able to save a good chunk on our vacation.

I booked a trip during Jersey week on British Expedia two years ago and got a great discount but they don't seem to be offering them this year on there.
