Room Discount Released

Though not DVC related directly, there is a new room discount released today for the general public. If you're like me, I like to stay cheap my first night if it's a weekend before checking into my DVC resort. Seems the discounted rooms are available for checkin until September 30. The code is BPN. As an AP holder I did find it strange that Disney released this general code before releasing AP/FL resident codes for discounts.

Can I ask where you found the code?

I actually prefer using the DVC discount since MS can link the ressies & not only keep me in the same room but avoid additional check-in & check-out procedures.

If I somehow manage to find a 50% off off course I'll grab it but...

Also, the info is on mousesavers. I'm staying at AKL for one night, and just saved $74 for that one night. This isn't the first time that the DIS has saved me money (I first read it on the DIS, then double-checked on mousesavers). I don't know if it's OK to say here what I did about the savings-as a way of saying "Thanks, DIS, for all the times you've saved me money" I just bought a site sponsorship. I still came out way ahead on the savings, but I figure it's a nice way to say "Thanks".
