We are celebrating the birthday of one of our daughters while at disney world this October. I have seen posts from families who have had their resort rooms decorated, with gift baskets and cakes delivered, prior to their arrival. Is this an “in-house” Disney option, or third party vendor service? (Can an external company access your resort room before your arrival??)

Can anyone provide the names of the companies they have used in the past?

Thank you for your help!

Disney Floral and Gifts is the vendor most people use...I've had someone send me items that were in my room when I got there (obviously pre-Covid), however I've also read that other people had to select a time when someone would be there to receive said items.

There is a face book group called Ears For Each Other. It started when Disney closed and all the cast members were laid off. It allowed laid off cast members to tell about their side gigs and helped them keep some income coming in. It is still going strong. There are lots of room decorators and gift basket providers in the group. You will have to ask to join because it is a private group but once you do, you will find lots of options with reviews and pictures.

I second Ear for Each Other! We have used that group several times. We have done in- room massages, had a Disney themed charcuterie board from Journey Across the Board, and had a Big Mickey Mouse Balloon Display. So many amazing options!
