Room Charging Limits

Does Disneyland (Grand Californian specifically) have a limit on room charges where when you reach that amount, they automatically charge your card on file, like the resorts at WDW do? We will have some gift cards and a Reward Card with some points that I want to apply to the balance and just want to be prepared to stop by the front desk to apply them before the card is charged. Or, do they charge a deposit to your card at check-in and use that first? I know WDW doesn’t place a hold on funds, but not sure about DL. Thanks!!

I often use gift cards to pay for our room.
I have always applied the gift cards to the room account at check-in.
They still request a major credit card on file for the room.

In the past, many of the charges have shown up quickly. I would suggest using the gift cards at the locations instead of charging to the room.

And like others have said, I generally have applied my gift cards at check in.
