Room charges

I just was wondering if I am correct so I'll be prepared for our trip..

YOu can charge to your room at WDW if you have one of the following:

A CC on file
A Debit card on file
CASH on file

Can you use Disney dollars to put down "on your account"?

I just realized that my dh gets paid the day after we leave.. and we will have no way to get those funds that I can think of. We do not have a credit card nor a debit card (small town bank). I'm trying to figure out how to get the extra monies.. LOL

Yes you can use Disney Dollars. They are considered Cash!

I believe that if you only put cash down then that is what your charging limit would be. If you put a credit card or debit card your charging limit will be what ever is set by the hotel. Values are $500 and when you reach that amount you are charged or you can pay it off with cash.

I believe that you can also cash a check at the front desk of your resort. Not sure what the limit is, but that would give you access to DH's "stash".

No Atm card? I would check with your DH's payroll dept. and see if you could have his paycheck DD to a new account, one with an Atm card at the very least.

So am I correct to assume that you can use cash to pay off your hotel bill? I have my reservation on my credit card and have paid the deposit on 1 night. My 3 room-mates are all planning on giving me cash on the last day of the trip to cover their share of the room. I am hoping to just take this cash to check-out and have it applied against the balance rather than have my CC charged any more. Has anyone ever done this? I don't want to bring that much US cash back to Canada and I can't deposit it through a US ATM against my Canadian bank account.

Thanks for all the replies... I may find out about check cashing at the resort. I wish we could change over to a new account with ATM but there's not enough time Oh well, it's okay.. it's gonna work out. Thanks everyone
