room changes - the logistics

We have to move from a 1 bedroom to 2 bedroom in SS during our stay -- will they move our luggage?> Do we check out and check in? What are the odds of us being without a room from 11 -4 pm?

Has anyone done this? How did it go? Also, can luggage be moved from th YC to ss, because we are staying there earlier in the week -- or do I need to move that stuff?

Bell services can move your luggage from one room to another, and from one resort to another, as long as you have it packed up. Call them from your room phone, and as with all hotel bell services, tip appropriately.

If you are going from a one bedroom to a two bedroom lockoff, not dedicated, there is a possibility you will not have to move, but can simply have the connecting studio (assuming you would be OK with a bed and sofa in the 2nd bedroom instead of two real beds). Check with the front desk, you still may have to move, but it is worth a try.

We have changed rooms before. Found that the big problem is that you must first check out of the one bedroom.Then recheck in for the two bedroom.

Your lugguge is no problem the bell service will take it and store it for you till your other room is ready.

We had to wait sometimes hours till the other room was ready.

When they say 4 pm check in they mean it.
