Room change fee?

We are new members and most likely will be staying at AKV in June with a split stay at the resort. We'll be spending a few nights in a 1 bedroom and then changing to a 2 bedroom SV for the rest of the week when DD and her family arrives.

DH just read about a room change fee if you change rooms at a resort? Is this true? If so, how much?

The fee may be collected if you request a different room after you check-in and enter the room. The fee would be equial the cost of an optional full cleaning.

You would not be charged a room cleaning fee on the day you move from the 1-bedroom to the 2-bedroom.

It's only if you request a change within a reservation. For example, you requested a 2nd floor room and all they had was 5th. The next day there is a 2nd floor room available and you request to move. You would be charged the room cleaning fee. It's to discourage people from requesting room changes just because you don't like the location.
