Will Disney allow 5 people (3 adults & 2 kids) to stay in a one bedroom?

The stated maximum occupancy of a one bedroom DVC unit is 4 people plus a child under 3 years of age. There is a portasble crib (Pac 'n Play) provided for the child. No extra bedding, cots or rollways are provided to accomodate more than the stated maximum.

As far as I know, DVC does not do bed checks.

Room capacity threads usually get shut down because of heated debates. The official capacity is 4 plus one child under the age of three.

When our youngest son was 4, MS let us make ressies for a 1 bedroom. I asked if we could stay in a 1 bedroom with 2 adults and three kids. They asked ages, I told them and they allowed it. Our ressie said it was for 5.

It really comes down to the ages of the kids. Also keep in mind there is no bedding for a 5th person.

I just received my confirmation for part of my trip next december. We are staying in a studio at BWV. Well there are 3 of us and my confirmation says 5! So much for occupancy limits!

I would think it would have sent up a red flag on the computer. Anyway as to your question - I am sure you can. I personally don't recommend it. 3 adults will be a tight squeeze JMHO of course!

As already mentioned, Disney has listed occupancy limits for Studio and 1BR villas as four plus a child under age three (in the provided pack-n-play). No extra bedding or linens will be supplied.

I'm not aware of Disney checking the number in the rooms and many have reported bringing an air mattress.
