Hi!
I'm at the Grande Vista as we 'speak'.
I only checked in today..at about dusk...but so far we are very pleased. I made requests and the man who checked us in gave me several choices. All of them would have suited us.
There are 2 'main' pool areas. One is the 'village' area where there is a lap pool, a kiddie pool for a little fountain area and another kind of U-shaped pool. (Going from memory...could be another one in there too.) It's not as huge as the website makes it look, but it seems really nice. Oh there is a sauna here too. Also there is the lighthouse bar, a pizza hut, a children's play area, pool tables, etc. right off of this. Also a sandy are with volleyball nets behind the pool. You can rent little paddle boats, bikes, etc.
We took a walk across the bridge that crosses the lake to the 'new' pool area too. This has a walk in entry area for small kids...as well as water canons to shoot for the older kids.
If you wanted something at the 'new' pool area I would suggest asking for the #79 (Madrid) or #84 (Alicante) which are on either side. (#85) Christobal is beside #84 although not next to the pool. #86 (Ibiza) is next to that and would be a little longer to walk..but doesn't seem like it would be a huge hike. I'm assuming those building are also newer since they are by the 'new' pool.
We chose Magellan (#94) which is across the street from the pool and village area. This is an 'older' building. The guy that registered us told us that the rooms had been renovated within the last 2 years. They seem nice to us. The drawer at the bottom of the oven is banged up. Some minor stains on 2 of the dining room chairs..and a few scratches on the fridge..but you really have to look. Everything else appears very clean.
In just looking at the map...#80 (Plaza De La Vida) which also houses the lobby and #81 Marbella seem like good choices. Not sure how old these are though..but #81 is by the Village Pool and the bridge to the new pool is also right there too.
Hope that helps somewhat!
Enjoy your upcoming Trips!
