Room/building request at GF

We are going to be staying at the GF in March for 2 nights in a standard view room and was wondering if anyone had any advice on a good building/room. WSe would love to be near the monorail if possible.

I just returned from a weekend visit (Feb 6-9) at the GF. We had a dormer room at Sago Cay, overlooking the monorail tracks and woods at the northwestern end of WDW. If you can't get the main building, then Sago Cay and Big Pine Key are your best bets; however, no building is more than a couple hundred meters from the main building, so no worries on that front.

I think all buildings are about the same walking distance to the monorail. So I wouldn't worry about that. Don't forget you can take the boat to and from the MK also.

We stayed at the GF in 2002 and had a great standard room in Big Pine Key overlooking the pool...we could even see the MK fireworks. We loved the location.
