Hiya

We are looking at our rooms now, and we have been told by the coordinator we need twenty five nights,

So me and Chris are staying at the Contemporary for 14 nights,

Mum and Dad for two nights,

and possibly my sister for 7 nights

so that leaves me two nights short

what happens?

It is my understanding (and I could be wrong) that you will be charged for the two nights regardless of if they are used or not. Talk to your planner for sure, they might let 2 nights slide.

The other possibility is if you post the dates, there may be brides who are consdering planing trips or just for fun trips and could help you fill the block.

In our case nothing....we fell about 5 room nights short....Planner said it was ok...and we didn’t get charged....but I do believe there is a minimum that you need to get the free night...

unless you reach you 25 nights you won't get your fee night, if you explained to your planner i'm sure they won't charge you.

2 nights is nothing, you should be able to get someone to help you out. Nearer the time put a post on here or the hotel forum and also disneymooners if your a member and offer your rates there or ask if someone will give you their ressie number.

I'm curious - if your min is 25 nights, you must be having a custom wedding, so is no one else at all staying at Disney even for a night or two?

yes its a custom but no one else wants to stay at disney they are having villas

Disney Vacation Club Villas or totally offsite? I have 2 families doing DVC and those count towards your number.

If they are staying offsite though, like others have mentioned, if you're just a couple short - i'm sure you can find someone going at that time that would give you their res #.
