DF and I were looking at the info we received and are trying to decide on which resorts to include in our room block, and we were disappointed to see that they did not include Pop Century in the value resorts. Does anyone know if they flat out do not allow you to include Pop Century in the room block?

Good question. I am set on Pop Century for the value resort option. I hope you find out soon. I would send an email to your coordinator. Perhaps its a typo. :thumbsup2

We were told that Pop Century was not available for the room block. But then a few months ago it seemed like everyone on here had Pop Century in their room block! Maybe it depends on which Disney "season" you're booking in?

I'm not sure why it didn't appear but it may just have to do with the season. We didn't have it originally listed as an option and talked to our coordinator about it and she was able to add it on. It is smaller than the all-star resorts I believe so maybe that's why they don't originally offer it. Just email/call your coordinator and check! :thumbsup2

I was concerned about this too and asked my coordinator about it. she told me that we could block pop century, but that they did not have a Group Office like the Value Resorts had, so it was less likely for my guests rooms to be together. i guess the Group office at the Value resorts tries their best to get rooms together but it's still not guaranteed. I hope that helps! Good luck

I would ask. I didn't see the Wilderness Cabins on the list of choices but when I asked if I could block them they said I could. So it never hurts to ask. :thumbsup2

I guess it depends on how much this matters to you? A little space at the hotel wouldn't be all that bad! The Pop Century is just so much quieter than then the All-Stars (imo)

I completely agree, which is why we're going with Pop Century. I stayed there in January and it is definitely a lot quieter than the other Value Resorts, and it's not like you'd be very far from any of the group if they were all staying at the same hotel. I guess it also depends on how large of a group is staying there.

Thanks for all of your input!:goodvibes I definitely agree that Pop Century is the better of the value resorts which is why we had planned on choosing that one. I'm not too concerned with grouping people together. My coordinator is out of the office until Jan. 5, so I'll have to wait for an answer until then. Thanks again!:cool1:
