Hey everyone :)

I have a question about room block nightmares...Has anyone here ever had to pay the penalty of not meeting the room block minimum that they contracted for?

I've been trawling posts on this board for several years and have never heard of anyone actually having to pay. Disney can work with you on the required number of nights if you're having problems - you just will have to give up the free night for the bride and groom. :thumbsup2

I will say that it is in the contract regardless so I would think if you are having problems or are thinking you are going to have problems meeting the minimum just talk to your planner about it ! I'm sure it's a common thing they have came across in the past.

Hi:
My wedding is in February, and not everyone has booked their room yet. The room block coordinator sent an email and told me that if I need an extension I can speak to my wedding planner, so I think that they would be flexible depending on how far off your numbers are.
