I was just wondering if anyone has missed there room block and had to pay for the rooms...

YUP I am one room short and my deadline is Saturday. So I am using it as a dressing room.

If you do fall short, you can post the dates on here and even the community board and people will give you their reservation numbers to help you fill it :)

i read on the contract that they charge you a fee for bringing in an outside photographer.Do they really charge you for this?

Heidi told me that they rarely do charge for the outside photographer. I wish that they had a solid answer.

I got my final budget today; I have both an outside photographer and videographer and I was not charged extra

I was not charged extra either! Although im not sure if that is a standard thing?! or if it just depends on your EM?

One of the rumors is that they tend not to charge if the photographer is familiar with Disney weddings. Basically, the charge is for Disney to "babysit" the photographer, from what I understand. If it's Randy Chapman, for example, who has done umpteen Disney weddings, there's no need for Disney to have to watch him.

On the other hand, some of those charges are just random. I was told I would be charged for having our honeymoon swap-out package at Epcot instead of MK, but when I got my BOE, it wasn't on there. Sorry I can't be of more help!

What's a honeymoon swap out package?

That just means that if you choose to use a nonDisney photographer for your Intimate/Escape wedding, you can swap the wedding photography included in your package for a honeymoon shoot (street clothes, no formalwear) at one of the parks. The policy is that only the Magic Kingdom is a direct swap - if you want pix in the other parks with your "free" shoot, you have to pay $50 extra. But it sounds like not everyone is actually charged the extra $50.

Hope this helps! :thumbsup2

I remember Heidi telling me that if its like Randy Chapman or someone who usually do Disney Weddings.. They dont charge a fee..
