We booked our cruise and were GTY. Once I got our info I discovered we had Room 7631. It is a handicapped room. It looks like a good location, but we don't need a handicapped room. Should I contact our TA and see if we can move, or should I be happy about the size of the room. I am a bit conflicted. Any help would be great.

I would be happy for the larger room. They certainly wouldn't give a handicapped-equipped room away if they needed it for a disabled passenger. My guess would be that they didn't end up needing it, so it was released to the general passenger list.

I would also guess that if they did end up needing it, you might be moved (which may also mean that you'll be moved to a higher category!).

The room location itself is great, and you just have to step across the hallway to the balcony on the back of deck 7.

We were in 7132 and the location is the best on the ship! As was mentioned, you are steps from the best overlook on deck 7, plus the back stairs that take you straight into Topsiders are right outside your door. Many times we would get our breakfast and bring it back down to our room since it was so close, or you could have a private breakfast on the back of deck 7 :sunny:

Have a great trip!
