We've stayed in that area of the ship (we've been in 6648 and 6652), and it was great! Of course, I absolutely love being aft because you tend to get less hallway noise and the elevators tend to be less crowded. You won't be far from the "secret" aft staircase, which leads up to the buffet, and you can also use it to access the "secret" aft verandah. Aft is also near the restaurants (just remember: forward fun, aft eat).

Hi
Sailed on the 3/9 Wonder cruise and were assigned stateroom 6644...directly across the hall from 6645. It was quiet, and it was nice to be aft for all the aforementioned reasons. However, this room was what I'll call a hybrid in a not-so-magical way...not only did it have a solid wall on the verandah (instead of the clear one we had on our first DCL cruise in stateroom 6100) but since ours was the first stateroom after a series of navigator's verandah rooms, about a quarter of our verandah "view" was obscured by a half moon of metal outer "wall". I was disappointed in the solid wall over the plexiglass-style one because you could not sit in your deck chairs and see over the railing without craning your necks. But the half moon of metal--an apparently unavoidable part of the ship's outer structure, just added fuel to the fire.
Don't get me wrong...you can only complain so much about ANY verandah, but for the same price as our stateroom 6100, it was definitely a downgrade verandah-wise. The navigator's verandah room next to ours had very similar view/space as our "hybrid", but was about two hundred dollars less. I know DCL can't make up separate pricing categories for every fluctuation in quality/view/location, but it was still kind of a disappointment since our verandah on the first cruise was so bright and a place we spent A LOT of time just looking at the view and drinking wine from the comfort of our chairs. Something we'll know to watch out for next time...
