Has anyone stayed in this room on the Magic? Just curious? Do you feel the motion? How about the stairs/elevator being basically right outside your door, how's the noise? TIA

We stayed in this room this past January and just loved it. You are in the middle of everything. As far as noise that is not a problem and the middle is a good place to be to feel the least amount of motion. We also have stayed in 6058 on the other side of the ship. You will have a great view of Castaway Cay along with the lights from the Florida coast line. Have fun.

thank you.....glad to hear about the motion. What did you mean about the Florida lights on the coastline? We're sailing on the Special Western Carribean and that doesn't stop in FL. Is that what you meant? Castaway Cay...will we be facing CC if they back in or pull in straight? Sorry for the questions, but I'm curious.

Thanks.

You will be facing the beach of CC if they back-in, which is normally what they do. We pulled into CC on our cruise, so we got to see the other side of the Island :-) We stayed in 6550, you will be able to see the people waving while going from the port to sea.

You probably won't hear much noise from the elevators, they are not in the hallway with the rooms & that seems to keep any noise to a minimum.

thanks....good to know. Kinda puts my mind at ease. Thanks for everyone's response.

We were in cabin 6562 - only a couple of cabins away, and found it just perfect. We felt no motion what so ever in our cabin (only felt it in the Walt Disney Theatre). I too, was worried about elevator noise when I received my cabin allocation - I shouldn't have worried. The cabin is in the perfect position. In fact I found being never the elevators an advantage - less walking and heard no noise at all. And being on Deck 6 we found that we were only 3 decks, either up or down, to all the main activities.

You'll find that you will have an ideal location I'm sure. Enjoy :smooth:

Kanga - thanks. All the way from down under? What is the time difference between Australia and NY? Just curious. Glad to hear about the room. I know the elevator is not in the same hallway as the rooms, but was worried about the noise carrying over into the hallway.

Thanks a lot. Have a great day.
