I was curious to know if anyone had any information regarding cabins 6506 or 6508 on the Wonder. Specifically I am wondering about noise level, are they connecting rooms (we do not want one) and do they have steamer trunks. I have already looked at the room reports for both of these cabins, but the most specific information is regarding the rooms on the Magic. Thanks in advance for your replies.

Thanks for your reply. I reviewed the reports before I posted. Since they were specific to the Magic, I was looking for information on the rooms on the Wonder. I realize that they should be similar if not identical, but I was not sure if the absence of the steamer trunk on the Magic was also on the Wonder. We really need that for the additional storage.

According to the deck plan in the DCL brochure book, the are *not* connecting rooms.

I'm sorry - I can't help you with the other questions.

This helps a lot! I think that I am going to just go ahead and book 6506. From the deck plan, it looks like it should be a relatively quiet room. Hopefully we will find a steamer trunk when we get there!

Not sure if this helps, but we recently stayed in 6006 on the Magic (port side mirror of 6506) and there was NO steamer trunk.

Thanks for posting this information. I think that I will just assume that there will not be a steamer trunk and be pleasantly surprised if there is one. I think that we can still make do with the cabinets by the TV if we need extra storage space.

My family and I stayed in 6508 on the Wonder on a 4-night in April 3 months ago. The room and hallway were very quiet. The room was near the front elevator and it was never crowded. There is no steamer trunk in room however the 4 of us -- 2 adults, 12 year, and 7 year were comfortable. The secret is to pickup the bed matress and put your suitcases under it. There was no connecting door to another cabin.

Yeah - thanks for posting this! Although I am disappointed about the steamer trunk, now I can plan accordingly. I am glad that it was quiet. It looked like it might be from where it was located on the floor plan. This is exactly what I needed to know!
