room 6019?

in the broichure it looks sideways, while the other rooms aree running in a different direction, has anyone stayed iin this room? is it different from the others, anybody?

I haven't stayed in this room or any that was in a similar location, but from looking at the deck plans, I can make a couple of observations.

It looks like they configured the cabins in that area so they could get the additional ones along the middle row.

The only thing I see that could be a problem is that you would have three other cabins along the exterior walls of that one. In the worst case, you could have noise from the inhabitants of those adjoining cabins. If that type of noise bothers you, you might consider trying to change your cabin assignment.

I do like deck 6 for being centrally located. It isn't far from the clubs, shows, restaurants, and kid's areas on decks 3, 4 and 5. It also isn't really far from deck 9.

In this location, you would have passenger cabins below on deck 5 and above on deck 7, so no nightclubs really close.

IDK about the specific location on the ship, but I remember reading in a thread about category 11 rooms that the sideways cabins actually have more space because of how they are set up. It was posted within the past week. The people who have stayed in those rooms said how they were set up. Sorry I can't be more help but we haven't been on a cruise yet.

We were in 6019 on the Magic in Sept. 1998 when she was only weeks old.

You enter the room in the middle with the queen bed to your left, the pull out bed (couch) straight ahead and the bath and closet to your right. If I remember correctly, this room only sleeps 3 as I don't remember a drop down bed.

The layout is the same as the other cat. 10 & 11 rooms that we have seen, only the door location is different.
