Room 5126

I think we were assigned this room on Deck 5 with a category 6 room.

It looks like the lifeboats kind of block our view towards the front. Is that true?

Also, looking at the deck plans, the verandah's look smaller than the cat 6 rooms on deck 6. I suppose it doesn't really matter since we probably won't be spending that much time out there.

I heard that being towards the back of the ship where we are is better for not having so much motion. And I like the fact we are on the same level as the Oceaneer's Club.

Anyone stay in or near this room have any comments?

We were in 6150, 6152 & 6154 last year in the aft section of Deck 6. It was very quiet & peaceful. We felt a little movement for a while but it eventually stopped & nobody felt sick. I've heard that the higher up you go, the more movement you feel, so maybe you won't feel anything. It looks like your stateroom is near the elevators on Deck 5 which is a big convenience. I had an inside cabin on deck 5 in the back so I can't comment on your room but I have to tell you that I LOVED the location! I couldn't imagine a better location on the ship. It was a short walk to the kids clubs, movies, and a few steps away from the elevators that take you right to the pool, Palo, etc. You'll love it. And your mandatory safety drill is at Animators Palate instead. There are a lot less cabins on deck 5 and hardly any traffic!

We'll be in 5128 so if you think about it when you get back post your opinion of your room, verandah and location. I have read other posts that were positive about this location. Hope you have a great trip.
