room 5020 porthole view

Hello all, I just booked one of the secret
porthole rooms for the Feb 5 2005
Eastern sailing and I was just wondering
if anyone can give me some info about
room 5020. I know it isn't a connecting
room so we don't have to worry about
noise from my neighbors, but can
someone tell me how obstructed the
porthole view is and if there is any noise
from deck 6. Also the last time we sailed
we were near the middle of the ship and did not expierence any sea sickness
and now were forward more, do you think our chances of getting sick will be greater this time. Any of these questions answered would be greatly appreciated. Thank You!

Look at www.disneycruiser.com (it is with an r at the end)for photos of that room. I stayed in one of the SPRs and never heard noise from above or below.

We'll be in the same room in September (11th-18th)!! From the pictures I've seen, 5060 and 5560 have the least obstructed view.

just a great stateroom it is the least obstructed of the spr's

we stayyed in it twice love the location and all.............

We stayed in 5522 and loved it! Just make sure you close the curtains when you are changing clothes if the ship is docked. They do frequent maintenance/washing in that are of the ship and there were guys outside our windows few times.

My3kids, thanks for giving my URL. For future reference, you may want to use www.castawayclub.com or www.disneycruiser.info instead, as that one is a mirror site on a freebie server with pop-up ads. The other two are on paid sites so there are no annoying pop-ups, and the info. is more recent.

You will be right above the Walt Disney Theater. A lot of cruisers did not have a problem with the noise from the theater, but on our recent 11/29/03 Magical Eastern Cruise it was a problem! The Darren Romeo Show was at 1 AM one morning (for the crew) and it raised my mother and father (a very sound sleeper) right out of bed. They could also hear the other shows, but they were generally over by 10PM. You might want to keep this in mind...
