Hi,
On our recent cruise my parents were in room 5000 (cat 8) on the Magic. I was in room 6049. Their room was very noisy at night. It was right over the Walt Disney Theater and one night, in the middle of the night they had a show for the crew and my mother was raised right out of her bed! It went on for a few hours... When she called guest services in the morning they told her what it had been. I was in her room other nights while the shows were going on in the theater and it was very noisy then too. I would not recommend this room or any others near it.:(

We were in this same room in October and it was horrible. I have posted alot about this room and the walls, floor and lights vibrating with the bass of the music. We complained alot to guest services about the noise. Our ship was full so on the 4th day of our cruise they wanted to move us to a room on the second floor. When we asked to look at it they said it wasn't ready yet because someone else had just moved out of it. WHY would I move the 4 of us to a room someone else didn't want?!? Needless to say we didn't move and Guest services told us they would try to turn the music down. Disney is very aware of how noisy room 5000 is. I can't believe that they haven't found a way to resolve this.

Hi,
We're going on our 1st cruise in April and we'll be staying in 5504 (cat. 8).....has anyone stayed in that room and had a problem? Just wondering.....

Thanks,
Lisa
