Does anyone know anything about Room 2605? That sounds like it might be in the belly (or the bowel!) of the ship?!?????

2605 would not be a bad room at all. We were in 2502 and 2504--in the "bowels" and at the front of the ship (our fault for not booking sooner). You really don't notice that's it's down that low--if you have a cabin with a window, the ocean is reasonably close, but you are always well above it. Otherwise, it's well-lit, always busy and you are reasonably close to the laundry (it's in the opposite hall). We actually spent more time in our cabins than most folks because we had a 3 and 4 year old that took naps while we read, and we didn't feel confined or even aware that we were on deck 2. Plus--you're close to the aft stairwells.

We were just in 2601 and although it wasn't dead quiet, it wasn't so noisy that we couldn't sleep or hear each other or the TV. It was quieter than the trip on the airplane.
Also, it was between the midship and aft elevators/stairs, convenient to debarking locations and close to Parrot Cay, where we ate the last two nights and last breakfast.
We found that it was a fine location, convenient to some things but not to others. I don't know that there is a perfect location on the ship, but I had no complaints about where we were and didn't feel as though we were in a lower class area by any means.

we were on the 7 day Magic in 2103 , right flipside from you and we loved the location. Very covenient to everything, and very quite. Easy to get to all of the stairs and elevaters close to the lanudry room. Very nice , relax and enjoy!!!

We were on the Western 2620 in February. I will never book that room again. I will bring ear plugs next time, just in case. We booked 2572 this next trip. 2620 is literally right above the tender window. It sucked to put it bluntly. On Key West I actually went to guest services practically in tears - in my pajamas! It was windy and the sign was blowing against our window. On other days it was so bloody noisy with the tender planking I got very poor sleep. The last night I couldn't sleep because they were arranging luggage and I woke up to them unloading the ship underneath me.

Just my two cents. Your cabin might be alright but be prepared if you are a light sleeper.

anyone else stayed in room 2605? I have that room for the Aug repo cruise.
I have never stayed on deck 2 before.

what "category" would these rooms be considered????? Just curious...... :confused3 :confused3

Category 10 I believe ~ I am booked for 2607 and that is a cat. 10 for our Sept. cruise.
