We've just upgraded from a category 11 to a 9 and got room 2026. I don't see it on the noisy list, but wanted to check and see if anyone's had this room....

Hi:

We were booked in cabin #2026 for next August until I upgraded to a verandah cabin. Personally, I really liked the looks of that cabin's location and when I upgraded a couple of weeks ago, I purposely asked for a cabin that was mid to forward (we're now in cabin #6042). I did a lot of research when we were booked in #2026 and I found nothing negative about it at all. When my DH and I cruised on Royal Caribbean this summer we were in a forward cabin, close to elevators, and we loved that location.

(I just tried to do a search here on the cruise boards to see if I could find anything new on #2026, but the search function is down).

I think cabin #2026 will be fine!! :)

I was in either 2526 or 2026 on my first cruise. I really liked it A LOT. Location was great. Near the aft elevators/stairs. 1 floor below most of the dining rooms, not a lot of motion. I have been on Deck 2 forward (hated that location); decks 5 (SPR) & 8 also & would return to that end of deck 2 in a minute if I couldn't get the (cheaper) SPR on 5.

I think I messed up with what rooms (#s) I have had in the past. I like dthe aft location best. Was VERY forward on deck 2 & disliked that. It seemed we would walk & walk and walk to get to the room from the forward elevator. The way the ship is configured, deck 2 is longer than other decks (either real or in my perception) so it seemed that the hallway went on forever & we were close to the end.
