Roof repairs to Disney All Star Hotels

Hi,

Myself, wife and 2 girls are off to stay in the Disney All Star Movies in mid spetember, all booked through Virgin but a few weeks ago we received a letter stating that roof repairs to all the All Star Hotels will start in September and finish on the 1st October we have made it clear we arent happy that we were informed after we had paid the holiday, but they said the disruption should be minimal and we wont be put in any of the hotels that are actually having the roofs repaired, has anybody else been told about this and if so, does anybody have any more information about it.

We are going to be at ASMo Sept 29-Oct 6. They haven't contacted me yet. What a pain!

They were doing this at the YC in July while I was there. It really didn't cause a disturbance at all. They just don't fill those rooms around where they're working. Unfortunately with all the hurricanes Florida had last year there is extensive shingle repair work needed at alot of the hotels. You could even see alot of repair going on in greater Orlando too on the trip from the airport.

Hi, we are also staying at all star movies from 9th sept and I have heard on other forums that there is repair work happening, however seems only virgin customers have been informed of this. We was wanting to stay in the toy story buildings so wants to know where exactly the work is going on. Anyone Know more info??????

I stayed at WL during some roof repairs. Yes, there was a tarp, and some workers but it was minimal. Our room was far away from the work, but the workers were fine and professional since they were working by the entrance. They dd have a tarp and covered up the work after they were done their 8 hour day.
