Romney quits

I honestly don't think McCain would be that good of a choice. He's done a huge amount for this country, don't get me wrong, but that's just it. His military background might make him make irrational decisions.

Trust me, I know some military guys. My cousin was a marine has had friends blown up by suicide bombers. He'd do almost anything for...revenge. Ya know?

Anyhooooo, I don't think the delegates will have much to vote on come convention time. They'll just have one person to choose from! :rotfl:

There is something else going on in his personal life. It's too bad though.
I don't want McCain to win.

I think McCain has some good ideas, but I think he's just too old to be the president now. I mean isn't he over 70? He's still in good health, but I don't think a 70 year old would be a good president. His age is a little too risky.

Would this be a really inappropriate place to say that I dreamt that I met Barack Obama?
xD

Anyways, this campaign is starting to scare me. I'm just worried that it might not turn out for the best.

I wanted Mitt Romney as the Republican nominee...I agreed with his politics and am very disappointed that he dropped out. I guess I will vote for McCain, because I will be voting in the presidential election and will be registering as a republican. I'm sorry if this offends anyone here, but I hate Hillary Clinton with a white hot intensity of 1000 suns. And I'm not a huge Obama fan either, not because he's African American as I have no issues with people of that race whatsoever. It's because he's too liberal and I'm waayy conservative.:rolleyes1 I mean, we took a test in my social studies class last year about where on the political spectrum we were. Everyone in my class was way left in Liberal-ville:hippie: . I was the off-the-charts conservative.

I hate Hillary too. Seeing her firsthand in NY, actually its not seeing her here, that ticks me off.

I wouldn't be pleased to see her win.
I know very little about American politics, but as a kid, I never ever viewed the Clintons as presidential figures...

I am pretty positive McCain is going to get the GOP nomination. I will be voting for Clinton in the primary because I'd like to have her and McCain to pick from in the general. I will not mind if either one of them is president.

Then what is the personal life thing?

Personal life is the key phrase. I don't know what it is, I just know that something happened. It is small, but it was a swaying vote in the choice to drop out.

And does it really matter?

Well I never heard anything about a personal life problem, so I was curious.

In the grand scheme of things, no it doesn't matter. I was just curious.

You just mentioned it, and nobody else had heard of such a thing. So we were naturally curious.

Would it be his religion? I know this shouldn't affect the way you vote for someone, but I know some people were saying that, because he's a Mormon.

No he did not drop out because he is a Mormon. There is nothing wrong with being a Mormon.
Isnt Huckabee still running???
Sadly.
