PLEASE HELP

I am getting married in Disney in August and it is also my partners 30Th birthday a week after the wedding. I know she has planned a lot of surprises for me and I am trying to think of things I can do for her especially for her Birthday.

Can anyone suggest romantic things to do in Disney. We are staying at the Floridian, Animal Kingdom and the Contemporary after the wedding. So any help or tips would be greatly appreciated.

a fancy dinner at victoria and alberts? a wishes or illuminations cruise (theres a probability you can find someone to share the boat (and expense) with if you post your chosen dates here.
how about a fun segway tour in epcot? a dinner at morocco in epcot when the belly dancers are shaking their thang!
a candlelit dinner in san angels mexico
a private tour keys to the kingdom or dinner with an imagineer
a hayride at fort wilderness

wow! I wish I had your problem :rotfl:

Thanks for the ideas. She has already booked us on the Keys to the Kingdom tour. But the Wishes cruise does sound good. Any idea of the cost and the duration of it, what it includes etc

  Last year was our first at our home at Saratoga, DH made me sit out on the balcony, with the door closed ... He set up his CD player to play Angels, popped open a bottle of champagne and presented me with a diamond eternity ring, we had been married ten years - sob sob !! It just went to show that you can plan a suprise or be romantic wothout leaving the balcony :lovestruc

they are difficult to book close to the date but post on every board and see if you can share a cruise with another couple or two

Oh Steve you are rubbish!! like I don't know that is you.

Men!! the only lie you told was we are getting married Sept not August!! you even listed the places we are staying. Oh you did leave out the cruise! lol

He may need more help than this!! LOL

ROTFL!!! :rotfl2: BUSTED!!!!

Ok, 'Mr. Smith', since this guy's been busted, let's work on 'your' question. ;) ;) An off-site romantic dinner could be at The Hyatt Grand Cypress (just a mile or so past the Downtown Disney exit near Goodings, then around back on the 545). The Hemingways restaurant is very cozy and romantic, with wonderful huge windows overlooking some lovely landscaping. It feels quite intimate and 'far away' from the hustle bustle.

Boggy Creek does their night-time airboat rides, which are quite fun and somewhat romantic if it's just the two of you (and, of course, Chad the driver, who's never going to tell!). Book in advance on http://www.bcairboats.com

Wishes from the Poly beach is free, coupled with a take-away from Earl of Sandwich or one of the Disney counter service restaurants can be achingly romantic.

:rotfl: :rotfl: Busted lol.

Seriously though, there are plenty of options, im getting married in December and ive planned a few suprises for my fiance!

My suggestions:-
The rooftop restaurant at contemporary resort for dinner. Book a table for 8.15ish, have a lovely dinner then step onto the terrace & watch the fireworks. pricey ($35 - 40 for a main course)but lovely.

Tchoup chop restaurant at Universal Royal PAcific resort

Mexico at EPCOT

Coral Reef at the sea at EPCOT

Go to the beach at Grand floridian or polynesian & watch the water pageant on the lagoon at night (9ish)

if its not too hot try the nature trails etc at the wilderness campsite.

at the MK, at night go to cosmic rays burger place, sit on the terrace looking at the castle as the sun goes down - lovely.

I thought the carriage rides at POFQ looked like the most romantic thing ever
You could hire a boat and explore some of the lovely quiet waterways around WDW.
Picnics are always romantic, there are lots of nice quiet places to share one with your beloved.

We always have a meal on top of the contempary hotel during our stay - Great food and really great views of the fireworks.

how about a nice balloon flight, ive heard lots of good things about them.
