Romantic things to do at SSR

Hi!

My DF and I are getting married in April and will be staying at SSr for two nights before we leave on our Disney Cruise. So I have a couple of questions: Does anyone have ideas of nice romantic things that we could do at SSR, besides the Spa, like room service or something? Also we already booked our room, but did not request an area, and now I would like to request Congress Park, how do I do that? Do I call MS? Thanks in advance!

I read that SSR is supposed to introduce horse drawn carriage rides- which will be a great addition to the overall theming. We did this at POR; very nice, especially at dusk.

Carriage ride. Walking around the little waterway that borders DTD and SSR.

Using the hot tub at night in Congress Park overlooking DTD.

Eating out on the patio at the Turf club.

Yes call Member services to make a room request. SSR does not have room service. The carriage rides are available now.

As far as the carriage rides go, we purchased a bottle of wine at the Artist Pallette and had them open it. I brought two plastic wine glasses and shared it on the ride. I also remember hearing some where that you can have baloons or flowers delivered to the carriage and have them waiting. Ask when you book if you are interested. Have fun!

As stated above the carriage ride is great. Very romantic.

Sitting in the rockers at night overlooking the lake/DTD...very nice! (same area as the hot tub)
