Romantic Restaurants

Hi, can anyone recommend a romantic restaurant either on-site at Disney or I-Dirve/Kissimmee areas.
We travelled to Disney for our honeymoon 4 years ago and are returning on the 21st September to 're-live' it! Also although it was our anniversary on the 6th September, would it be worth mentioning on our stay?

Definitely recommend Jiko at AKL as it is fairly quiet and a lovely setting. The food is amazing and the waiters are very attentative but not in your face. I can not recommend it high enough! Although it is quite expensive if you are not on the dining plan.

Definitely tell them that it is your anniversary meal they will probably add some disney magic to the table

Thanks, I'll look in to it. Looks very nice from the photo's. At the moment i'm between spending an evening at Boardwalk, California Grill at Contempory Resort and now Jiko's. Any more suggestions, anyone? Or just try and help me make up my mind!

We also went to California Grill and to be honest it is not a quiet restaurant so if you want a quiet romantic meal it wont be a good choice, although if you time it right you can go when the fireworks are. You do get a fab view but it is very loud place to eat.

Have you thought about Nacosees at GF (cant remember how to spell it) that is a nice place to eat as well as again you can see the fireworks and they bring in the music for wishes.

I just made reservation at NARCOOSEE's yesterday for Oct 1, for my birthday. I was told that you can see the fireworks but I was wondering how well,..... does any one have any pictures from that area???

depends where your seating but you can go out and watch from the water front when the fireworks are on

Had dinner at Narcooses (however spelt!!) nine nights ago. it is very romantic, low lighting and a wrap round terrace so you can go outside or sit at your tableto watch the fireworks, great to do a bit of both as they pipe the music into the restaurant and you get the best views of MK/wishes. We arrived at sunset and then had a magnificent window view of the fireworks at MK. Go here and you will have a fantastic and special dinner. The calamari was delicious as was the lobster!!!! WOW.

The more I look into it the better Jiko's sounds. Does anyone have any pics or info at Jiko's.

Has anyone tried 'ohana's at polynesian resort?

Well, I love 'Ohana but in my opinion it is possibly the least romantic place in WDW

If you don't mind lots of children, being hit in the foot by coconuts or hula hoops in your face, lots of singing (not the romantic kind ) and you like being asked every couple of minutes by a server if you want more meat, then I guess you could call it romantic! Don't get more wrong. I love it there, but it isn't romantic.

I found a couple of pictures of Jiko from when we visited in 2005, but they don't show the restaurant off very well. The food was excellent when we visited though the service wasn't very good, I think we were unlucky as most other reports I have read say people found that excellent. I would definitely go again.
