My hubby and I need advice on a romantic restaurant. The last few trips we have eaten at Coral Reef, Artist Point and Maya Grill. We aren't going to be on the dining plan. Also my husband doesn't want to wear a mandatory tie/jacket. Any ideas?

I know RustyScupper thinks that bluezoo is overpriced but I have to add it to his list because I love it so much. These are the only 3 restaurants, besides V&A (which requires a jacket), that I would consider for a romantic adults only dinner at WDW.

Yatchsman steak house, he will need A shirt with a collar, very Nice romantic restaurant.

Yachtsman Steakhouse and Bistro de Paris are our favorites for adult dinners. Great ambience, not noisy, and great food.

We planned Jiko for our adults only dinner.....anyone have an opinion as to whether or not it should be added to this list?

Another vote for Yachtsman, such a classy place, and the steaks our great :thumbsup2

My husband and I love Il Mulino's and Shula's with Jiko third. Since you are not on the dining plan I say it just comes down to what you prefer to eat. For great Italian go with Il Mulino's for great steak go with Shula's.

For overall experience: ambiance, service, and food, Jiko gets my vote. Everything there is top notch, and you really can't beat walking around AKL at night. It is just gorgeous and the perfect end to a romantic evening!

I think that San Angel Inn with its twilight lighting, volcano, and boats drifting by would be very romantic. I have heard mixed reviews of the food, but the setting is lovely.

`Fultons for a romantic dinner. Chefs de france is good lat at night when there are fewer kids. Artist Point can be very romantic as well but i'm not crazy about the food.

Bistro de Paris is a wonderful evening, especially if you get some seats by the windows. Food and service are unmatched in WDW.

Aside from that, I'd then suggest Citricos and Bluezoo.

My husband love JIKO. the ambiance is so romantic and the food is really good! after the meal we walk around the Savannah and watch the animals with the night vision. it is very romantic.

Artist Point is a very beautiful restaurant and my husband and I love the food there. It is very quiet and the resort is gorgeous to walk around and hold hands.

I would put a vote in for California Grill it can get a little loud but the food is great.

And if you plan it for the correct time the fireworks from the out-side walkway is very romantic.

My vote is also for Citricos. Inviting decor, refined but not stuffy atmosphere, agree with the best service.

I agree with Pakey and Scupper that the 3 best "romantic" spots are Shulas, Il Mulino and Blue Zoo.
Citricos and Bistro might be good--if you catch them on nights w/o a lot of kids...
