Thank you so much!! I know, we are going at the most expensive time. Since DH and I have been looking we now think Cape May is cheap compared to alot of other places! DH said we could go to WDW for the same price as a weekend in RI, or Mass.!!! Well, that ideas out b/c he doesn't fly!

My DH and I stayed for a weekend at Penn Hills, in the Poconos. It's a couples only all inclusive resort. I'm not sure if it's still there, this was about 10 years ago.

End of June is a really tough time for the Cape. What about Block Island, RI? Or Newport? I love the Blue Dory inn

If your thinking about Cape May, I would check if they also have a 3 night min. I think that most places do this time of year.

We also loved the Water's Edge, but there are two other places we love a lot more.

Albergo Allegrio B&B in Wyndham, NY. Very romantic, some of the rooms/suites have fireplaces and jacuzzi's.

But our very favorite is the Mirror Lake Inn in Lake Placid. We retreat there every year for a long weekend. Spend time ambling around town, in the spa, the indoor pool, and the restaurants. We always take the same room, #439, it's incredibly gorgeous with a fireplace and private balcony. There are also rooms with jacuzzi's.
