What are your best suggestions for a romantic dinner for 2 in Epcot? Grandma is keeping dd one evening so we can have some time alone. :)

San Angel Inn....you aren't going to find a better more romantic atmosphere than this restaurant.

Check out the menu first to make sure they serve something you both would enjoy, as it is not a tex mex style place but more traditional in it's dishes.

But the mood is so cool. You dine inside the Mexican pavillion next to the little "river" (which is the boat ride). With stars above it feels like you are dining outside on a starlit night in Mexico. Very very cool!

I say San Angel, a small mexican village under the stars with a view of the aztec temple and boats floating by..Sometimes a marichi band will come out and play..

In order of romance :
Bistro:quiet,excellent food,spacious,elegant...too well lit tho

Tutto: gets mixed reviews from us on food and service but it is less lit and Italians revel in romance

Le Cellier:Food is excellent, not too bright, service is OK

Marrakesh:yes Marrakesh there is nothing more sexy than eating exotic good food with a belly dancer floor show

San Angel:food and service are OK but the band and atmosphere are romantic

within a quick boat ride or stroll is Il Mulino(super food and service)

Take a look at the pix of the restaurants inside to get a feel of what's in store.

First choice: Bistro de Paris, hands down!

Distant second: San Angel Inn. Very romantic atmosphere, enhanced if the mariachi band is playing. (Too bad the marimba band left years ago.) The food can be a bit diappointing though, and the tables tend to be set too close together. There is also a small seating area off to the side which used to be a waiting area; don't accept a seat there as you can't see much from there.

Le Cellier is a pretty good alternate choice. Attractive decor and lighting level, and good steaks and good service (not great, but good) can add to a romantic setting.

San Angel Inn for the atmosphere.

Our one experience at Bistro was not that romantic. Service was so-so, food was good but not great. Of course this was just one experience, so perhaps we got a not so great server and ordered on an off night.

Bistro was not even remotely romantic when we dined there in November. There were kids at nearly every table, the kids were rowdy, running around, yelling, etc. The waiters were running like mad to get everyone served, the kitchen was running out of food and we went late hoping it would be quiet and romantic. Instead, everyone was waiting for the fireworks, although the view is not good and there are only a few windows. The place didn't quiet down until after 10 -- and by then the waiters were rushing us because they wanted to go home.

We have now crossed Bistro off our list. With that, I have to say there is no where in Epcot to have a romantic dinner.
