Our trip is in May and I wanna take my girlfriend out to a nice romantic restaurant at Epcot which is her favorite park we're already doing Chefs de France for lunch but i wanna make dinner special.
Bistro de Paris (which is very, VERY different from Chef's and sooooooooo much more wonderful!) or for something less expensive than that Tutto Italia or San Angel...but I would vote, hands down, for Bistro.
Ditto to Bistro! DW and I ate there during our last trip the week after Thanksgiving 2010 and it was fantastic! Get ressies about 8:30 and since it will be just the two of you, ask for a table by the window facing the lake. Before dessert arrives, you will be able to watch the fireworks show from your table! It was like a scene from a movie! (See TR link below for Nov/Dec 2010 trip) IMO, change your lunch ressie (unless you REALLY like French food!) and go for Bistro de Paris that night. FYI, Bistro is not on the dining plan but will take TIW.
You could also do a private dinner in Epcot if you have extra money to spend I heard they are absolutely wonderful. Here's a couple that did one and added a dessert party to theirs, but you can definitely do just the dinner part http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2121903 oh and you can do dinner on the illuminations cruises as well. I have also heard good things about Bistro so my vote goes to that one as well
Definitely Bistro. It is probably second only to V&A for quality of both food and service. And they do discourage children, so there is very little screaming or kids running around.

i would exit thru the international gateway, walk on the beach to the yacht club and dine at yachtsman steakhouse. it's really pretty, then you can go back into epcot after dinner!
