Romantic Dinner for 2, not in a park!

Private dining. Cheaper than V&A more intimate than any other restaurant. Can be a bit pricey but not V&A pricey and you get to have a lovely dinner with your significant other followed by Fireworks.

This is going to make me sound so ignorant, but could you explain the private dining to me? Where can I get information on this? Pretty much everything about it.

FWIW, we aren't on the dining plan. Just in case that makes a difference to anyone.

Since you're not on the dining plan I would absolutely go to Shulas. It very quiet, romantic and they have excellent steaks. Not many children are there either.

If your intent is to have a quiet couples meal, I wouldn't include CG--it's a nice restaurant but quiet it's not. If you want a buzz-filled meal with admittedly nice views, sure. Be forewarned that CG prices, while not approaching those of V&A's are among the highest of the Signatures. Still, most of the suggestions above are worthwhile, but it just depends on what you truly want from the experience. I might suggest an outlier that I haven't seen suggested above--Jiko. Great food, wonderful service, warm & welcoming ambiance--all apply to Jiko. (Honestly, Sanaa is a bit less luxurious, but it also has excellent food and costs far less.) Another restaurant worth considering, especially if you're looking for a serene place to spend quality time with your special someone, is Artist Point. The loveliness of the resort, especially the lobby and the restaurant, are unmatched on property. The food is good (plenty of meat and fish options), the service reliable, and the ability to get away from the crush of the crowds is wonderful. Rarely crowded, and if you make an early reservation, ask for a window table even if you have to wait a short while. It makes all the difference.

california grill. we watched wishes from their private viewing deck with maybe 6 other couples, they even pipe in the music. After we got back to our seats desert was served. It will be a date night I will not forget.

Basically we coordinated it through Grand Floridian. They emailed me a menu, we chose what we wanted, met our Butler at the GF lobby who led us up to the private balcony and we were served dinner as the Fireworks went over the Castle. Call GF private dining and they will email you the details on current costs, options etc. Here is a link to a review. http://www.wdwforgrownups.com/artic...ence-disneys-grand-floridian-resort-and-spa-0 This is NOT my review but it does pretty much sum up the experience. We did this in 2014 and will be doing it again next spring for our 20th Anniversary.

We love Artist Point at WL. It has a lovely atmosphere and we've always had impeccable service and delicious food.

Narcoosee's. We have our Christmas meal here year and are back there again this year. Food and view are worth every penny and they have a verandah outside. We are usually there for lighting up of castle but you could co-ordinate it with wishes fireworks or electric water parade.

We've done BlueZoo (we were staying at Boardwalk) and Jiko (we were staying at Kidani) as a couple. Enjoyed both. Going to Jellyroll's after Bluezoo was a great time too.
