Romantic Dessert

Hi all,
I was wanting to take my DH out for a nice dessert one evening (really just a ploy to get away from the 16, 6 and 4 year old!)

We are staying at the POP but we will have a car. I am guessing that it would be like 9:00 -9:30 in the evening. Where would you go and what would you have?

artist point at WL and i would have the berry cobbler. or jiko at AKL. trying to remember what my husband had; i did have a bite or two of his.

oh - I vote for the berry cobbler at Artist Pointe! More than enough for the 2 of you...with a cup of coffee or wine. Yum!

But Jiko is really romantic IMO...it's "darker" and more intimate than Artists Pointe...and the press pots of coffee there are to DIE for. (Never had one at Kona...so I really can't compare.) I think we had a pistacio creme brulee (sp?) there for dessert...

either way - both resorts are great to wander around. at WL you get the view of the water...at AKL you get the animals. can't go wrong either way!

If going into a park is an option, how about the Fountainview Cafe in EPCOT. We love sitting at an outside table watching the big fountain and watching the people go by while enjoying our muffins/turnovers/tarts or whatever. Add a cup of coffee or espresso and it can be quite romantic.

Another option is to get a sundae to go at Beaches and Cream and walk out to the beach or dock and eat by the water.

Artist Point, berry cobbler for two, ask for a window seat. We had one by the water fall and it was so lovely.

omg - I fell in LOVE with this resort on my honeymoon. You don't feel like you are on Disney property anymore - it's so secluded. But in a good way. The grounds are beautiful and the lodge just has this warm, inviting, romantic appeal to it (IMO). It's definetly worth checking out in the evening.
