Looking for any idea's for romantic Anniversary dinners? But they also have to have yummy food!! My DH would like to go to the Steak house in Canada in Epcot... I have not been there before... Is it romantic? Do they have romantic desserts? pixiedust:

While Le Cellier is certainly a great and yummy restaurant, it wouldn't be my first choice if you're looking for something quiet and romantic, but definitely go there for another meal. Of course, V&A is the ultimate romantic dinner setting. Some other good spots would be California Grill, Jiko, Citricos, Yachtsman Steakhouse, Coral Reef, Bistro de Paris or Narcoose's.
Have a great time.

We wnet LeCeliers on our honeymoon. It was romantic, but it has also been a tradition of ours to eat there every trip. The meal was the best we had during our 10 nights at WDW. They made it very special for us; they gave us free chocolate mouse with "Happy Disneymoon" written on the plate in chocolate. The restaurant itself is supposed to resemble a wine celler~think dark with candles. It had a very nice ambiance to it. I am not sure about Victorias and Alberts....DH is a real picky eater. I am sure it is very nice, but it's not for us. He is a meat and potatoe lover and LeCelier always wins!!! Happy Anniversary!! I am planning on making ADRs there during our anniversary trip!

If steak is a primary concern, then Yachtsman Steakhouse would be a better choice. Nothing terribly romantic about Le Cellier--

I agree, LeCellier isn't terribly romantic. We like Citrico's, great food (including steak) and great service, and definitely a romantic atmosphere.

Why not give Jiko a chance. It is a very romantic place to dine. It is our number 1 place to eat at WDW. You can take a nice walk around the lodge either before or after dinner to see the animals. Happy early Anniversary. :)

Fultons at Downtown Disney has steaks, but if you like seafood, there's is the best at Disney!

I think it's romantic, but it is always crowded.

Jiko or Citrico's would both fit the bill nicely. Both are very nice restaurants with great food and service. There will be kids there (it is WDW after all), but perhaps not so many as at some other places.

At Jiko, a booth or table near the back by the wall where the lights slowly change colors during the course of the meal would, I think, be very romantic.

Thank you everyone! I know I can always count on my DIS pals!! Where is Jiko and where is Citrico's?

Citrico's--GF

We just celebrated our 10-year wedding anniversary with dinner at Le Cellier in November, although we weren't really looking for romance, we had our kids and parents with us! If you are looking for something extra romantic, did you know you can do private dining at the Grand Floridian. You don't have to be a guest there. You can just book a private dinner on a balcony or on the beach and order off the private dining menu. If you want to spend a little bit more you can even have the butler stay to serve you. Have fun with whatever you decide!

My top pick has become BlueZoo at the Dolphin. DH & I found it incredibly sexy & romantic.

We are eating at Jiko for our big anniversary dinner in May.

Citrico's definitely.....great food, ask for a window seat and make sure you request Gwen for your server, she is wonderful. I love this restaurant.
