What's your favorite place at Disney for dinner? We have a chance to do 1 or 2 evenings on our own (without the kids). Where should we go??? :confused3

We're going for Valentine's day. Our list of what we were considering included a big variety of ideas. We considered Narcoosse's, California Grill, Yachtsman, Teppan Edo and Le Cellier.

If you could afford it, I'd do Victoria and Alberts at the Grand Floridian, but otherwise, California Grill or Narcoossee's would be my next pick.

1. Victoria & Albert's
2. Jiko
3. LeCellier

We love the California Grill - be sure to watch Wishes from the balcony!

I would go to Jiko at the AKL. It is a beautiful, quiet restaurant without a lot of children. The service is outstanding and the food is delicious. We ate there in October and it was wonderful.
I think the California Grill is good, but there are many children and it can be noisy. We don't care for the Yachtsman Steakhouse food. The atmosphere and service were great, we just didn't enjoy our meal. I have never eaten at ARtist Point, but many love that too.
Have a wonderful time

Here is one that is very dark inside the restaurant and you need the candle light to actually see the menu. If you like Mexican.
San Angel Inn
Mexico - World Showcase - Epcot

I love Le Cellier but the 2 of you may be put at a table that almost seems like you are sitting with others.

1. Victoria & Alberts
2. Bistro de Paris
3. JIKO

These not only have the best food, in that order, but are also the only places that are quiet enough to be considered romantic.

Any of the Signature restaurants would be fine. MY top 3 -V&A, California Grill, Citrico.

If you can get on the porch, Tony's can be a very nice place (specially if you can get one of the corner tables). My wife and I love to sit out there in the late afternoon and be together. Of course we can make a romantic dinner out of Pecos Bill's with a little effort, and, walking around the corner to the empty tables at the Parrot and the Pirate.

Of course if you are looking for more substantial stuff, Vickie and Als is the place. St Angel's Inn is also very dark and mysterious. I highly recommend it.

My votes are California Grill (during Wishes) and Le Cellier!

To me, nothing is better than an 8 pm ADR at Rose and Crown at a table outside and watching Illuminations during dessert!

I would suggest Bistro de Paris. DH & I just returned and had dinner there.

What we liked the best about it was the menu and atmosphere didn't feel like a Disney restaurant. I mean, we really felt like we were in a fine dining restaurant at home or in a non-Disney atmosphere, which can be a nice break from character meals, hidden mickeys and just generally feeling like you're in a herd of cattle.

But then to be able to look out the window at the end of the meal at Illuminations and the Earth thing moving around the lagoon, well, best of all worlds :thumbsup2

I would have to suggest Shulas and Citricos, Bistro is nice, too. CG is wonderful, but that's a good sig place to take kids, if you'd like to go there I would just take the kids there and not waste it on your "adult" night(s).

Our favorites are V&A, Bistro de Paris, Jiko, and Citricos. All are pretty quiet and have great food. Cali Grill was extremely loud (kids and adults) the night we went and the food wasn't that great. In my opinion not a very romantic meal.

DH and I went on a trip without the kids for our 10th anniversary last year. We ate at the Coral Reef, California Grill, Boma and Teppanyaki. CG and CR were the favorites for atmosphere, but we enjoyed them all.
