Romance Package for our HM--yes/no??

Should we purchase the Romance Package for our land/sea HM? I'm just not sure it is actually worth the extra $500 and we are on a budget.

I know we would like to get a couples massage while on the cruise and we would both like to see la Nouba (sp?) but other than that I just don't know if we need the rest of the package. I am already worried that we won't have enough time at the parks, so I don't want to miss anything for the horse drawn carriage ride and it even makes me second guess seeing Cirque du Soleil--am I crazy??? It would be nice to have a great dinner at one of the resorts and to have seating at Palo's, but we could probably both survive if we didn't.

Will we miss out if we don't book the Romance Plan? Or do you think we can just purchase these items separately for less than $500? I guess I just don't know if all of these things add up to $500 or if it is just the convenience of having it booked and then knowing that you get to do them.

I am really interested in your opinions and comments regarding this issue.

Thanks!

We were going to ge the romance plan too, but they changed it this year and it is not as nice as it was last year. We looked at it and it would be cheaper and with more options to get a day or two of the silver add on. Look at that and see what you think. We will probably go with it instead.

When we went on our honeymoon we got the romance plan but we were at the world for 7 days. I've also done the land and sea package before as well. I would probably recommend skipping the romance package if doing the land and sea. You could make out cheaper if you did a couples message and dinner at Palo's on the cruise. We did a couples massage at castaway cay and i believe it was around $200. Plus you have a nice view overlooking the ocean. It was a much better experience then the massage in the romance package. Then I believe it only cost like $5 for dinner at Palo's, so you definitely would make out cheaper. Also it was a hassle getting everything situated with the romance plan because you have to plan it all in advance. They told us we could use our dinner at one restaurant and then when we got down there we noticed it wasn't on the list of choices that they give with the package so we had to change it. Then they had us down for the wrong date for our carriage ride and luckily we were able to reschedule. Plus there is so much to do at Disney that trying to schedule certain things in just makes things harder I thought. I would just go for Palo's and a couples massage at castaway cay. But if you do the massage make sure you get to the spa first thing when it opens because the massages on the island are limited and fill up quickly.
