Romance movies.

Now. look at my sig.
What's my favortie movie?

OOH OOH OOH PICK ME!

Uh, okay. Wait, hold on. Let me collect my thoughts. I know this one. Dang it, I swear I know this one!

Twilight?

;)

OMG when Betty died I was like "NOOOO!". And when..Billy was it? Whoever said during the bombing "It's a fake. It won't blow" and then it did. He was a cutie.

I loved Barbara and Red though. They totally made me laugh. "Honey, if the government says stick em, we stick em"

I don't remember his name.
But yeah.

Hehe. It was so cute when Red was trying to propose to Betty and she like squatted down because she didn't know. "No, Betty. You gotta stand up." :lovestruc

Ha. Close... I do have Rob Pattinson in my locker at school.
The real one. He's just chilling there over break.

But Titanic is wayy better than Twilight. It's not hard to admit that.

Sarcasm, hence the wink.

"CAN A GUY PROPOSE?!"

Hilary seriously, it's one of the best movies I've seen all year!!
Not only is the love story one of the cutest I've seen, it's got such a powerful message (especially on the heels of the passing of prop8!)
(and james franco is a babe, and so is diego luna and so is my bf emile hirsch haha)
It made me want to go and hug my friend JJ immediatley afterwards.
It's really inspiring!! GO SEE IT!! :thumbsup2

I have to wait for it to come out on DVD. The closest theatre playing it is almost and hour and a half away. :sad2:

Well, I haven't really watched that many drama films, i tend to go for romantic comedies. My favourite romantic movies are:
27 Dresses
What Happens in Vegas
10 things I hate about you
The holiday
Romeo and Juliet

Blech, most make me gag and send me running for the hills, but there are one or two that arnt to bad. One of my favorites is 50 First Dates. Everything about the movie was awesome. Great music, AMAZING location, Great actors/actresses. I loved that movie.

The one other, REALLY girly movie, that I...sorta liked was A Walk to Remember. Its not even that I really like the movie, I thought it was a bit cheesy, touching but kinda cheesy. I loved it because of the music. Nearly every song in the movie was by my favorite band, Switchfoot, and that made it awesome.

I love movies, particularly romance.

The best romance film ever, IMO by far is An Officer and A Gentleman.
I simply adore it.

I don't really like Titanic, I think it is hyped too much and overrated.

PS I Love You was okay, but it was a chick flicky rom com. And I believe these is enourmous difference between romances and romantic comedies.

Forest Gump, not a romance film, but I cry so hard when she leaves him and dies etc. So it has a kind of romance aspect.

I think Romeo + Juliet, was okay, Leo does a good job I guess. But doesn't make me go wild. The original Romeo and Juliet, bores me so much.

Atonement, I know some of you guys don't like it, but it took me a while to get into. Once I got into it, I really liked it. Very sad at the end, I cried. It also bought home the fact, that you get older. A fact that seems so weird atm.

I'm also a sucker for Dirty Dancing. Only the first one.

Woah, those are my FAVORITE romantic movies as well. Crazy weird.

I would also like to add
-Love Actually

I am more into the romantic comedies. I like the Notebook, but only the middle part, like when they first meet/the summer ect. The fun part lmoa. I hate the rest of it pretty much. Basically I like to laugh, so I like the funnier movies. :)

Twilight <;3 i love that movie (:
That movie is amazing.
I also agree that Forest Gump is a good movie, somwhat like a romance movie
but,it's a really good love movie (:

Anyway, I've been watching a lot of movies lately and I have come to the following conclusions;

- I like romantic dramas.
- Especially the ones based in the past.
- Romantic comedies aren't really romantic at all.

So let's talk. I feel like talking about this. I was going to make a top 5 favorite movies thread, but I couldn't decide on my top 5, and they'd all be romances anyway.

Your opinions? Your favorites?

 If you like romances set in the past, a couple of old movies that are great ones to see are:

Far and Away (Nicole Kidman and Tom Cruise)

Shakespeare in Love

Just a good romantic movie: Sleepless in Seattle (Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan)

I know there are others, I will just have to add more later. :3dglasses
