Rolo candy is wrong!

I have always loved Rolos but the have changed from a more real caramel interior to a kind of caramel flavor that is more like a soft center truffle. I don't think I will purchase them any more. Anyone else notice this or the change in any other favorite candy?

The ONLY candy that matters are holiday reese's peanut butter cups.

Sooner or later, you'll open a bag of candy, and it will just be nothing but sugar and a note that says "Eh, good enough".

Edit: Decades later, the story will become "Now it's only a HALF bag of sugar, there's no more note!"

Within two decades it will be replaced Kale/Quinoa flavored candy.

Welcome to the recession. Dunkin Donuts will get smaller. Starbucks sizes will shrink.

This isn't a recession thing. Shrinkflation has been going on for years. Longer than a decade I would say. When was the last time you saw a common ice cream in a half gallon size? Look at the bag of Doritos on the shelves, the regular size. Use to be more than the "Family size" that is out now.

Can't follow recipes any more. Can't find any 15 ounce cans of whatever is needed since they are all 12 to 14 ounces. Heck, the 15 ounce cans are from shrinkflation so long ago that we can't even remember they were 16 ounce cans.

The weird one is the opposite direction they went with pop like Pepsi and Coca Cola. Can't buy 12 ounce cans anywhere other than in a case at the grocery store. And that is only the full 24 can case as the 12 packs are 10 ounce. Everything in the gas stations/convenience stores are 20 ounce.

I don't think they've changed the flavors of peanut butter cups, as changing the flavor meaning removing chocolate from the recipe.

They have however shrinkflated them quite some time ago.

I used to eat Rolo candy a lot and I remember it used to be really good because my teacher would eat Rolos and would give my classmates a lot of them during Halloween when my class would have Halloween parties and these days it's hard to find a chocolate candy that tastes really good but if they would make candies such as Rolos taste great as they used to be it would be wonderful

The 12 packs are still 12oz cans around here. Still find them in vending machines sometimes, too.

What are you talking about? 12 oz cans are still the norm in 12 packs of every soda. I've only seen the smaller 8oz cans in an 8 pack. I have never seen a 10oz soda can. We drink a lot of Coke zero, and trust me I would have noticed.

I have always thought Rolos were terrible. And I love caramel! My favorite "cheap candy" caramel is Milky Way Simply Caramel. So good! The very best ones are Sees Dark Butterchews.

Agreed. I have never seen a 10 oz can or a 12 pack of anything but a 12 oz can. Just bought one on Sunday.
