I don't like rollercoasters but I was talking to my Auntie two days ago and she said my older cousin didn't either until he tried one. We are all going to WDW in October (Me, brother, mum, dad, uncle, auntie, grandma, grandad and both of my cousins). I would like to try one but only ones that don't go upside down for the moment. Can anyone tell me some rollercoasters at WDW like that?

Goofy's Barnstormer. It's in Mickey's Toontown Fair. No inversions, nothing serious. It's a cute rollercoaster.

My mom hates roller coasters. However, she loved Goofy's Barnstormer. She also managed Splash Mountain.

And, Dinosaur. She was very proud of herself. Not because it's a coaster, and it's not. But because it's a pretty aggressive ride for someone who doesn't like anything that goes faster than "its a small world".

I don't consider Splash Mountain to be a rollercoaster, more of a log flume.

Big thunder mountain railroad is a good one. IT does get dark, and a little bumpy. If you don't like that, ask to sit near the front. You won't feel as much of it.

I don't either. I just meant that she enjoyed the ride, but doesn't particularly enjoy "big drops". :)

well the first roller coster i went on was the one in sea world the kraken or something like that the hill is not that bad trust me i never tried a roller coaster that big since october and the funny thing is my parents always tried to get me to go on big roller coasters and just begged
but the one time my parents were not at the park with us all my cousin needed to do was offer me candy lol
the hill on that one seems bad but i goes down for like to seconds and then it kind of spins in to a loop lol go to seaworld.com

most of the coasters at Disney are pretty tame in comparison to most coasters but space mountain isn't bad, neither is expedition everest if you don't mind going backwards. You just have to go in with the mindset that nothing bad will happen and most likely once you get off you will want to do it again.

see i always think that the back is the best bc on costers the front always has to wait at the top for the rest of the coaster kind of i cant explain but if you want to go on the coaster i explained you wont even like feel the drop really bc the rest of the coaster gives you no time to stop and get scared bc of the hill see what i mean lol

i hate rollercoasters that go upside down and take big drops. i was really scared of splash mountain and expedition everest at first because of the big drops they both have but i figured you only live once ride them so i did and im glad i did they are some of my favorite rides but expedition everest is my all time favorite. i still wont ever ride TOT or Rockin Rollercoaster but for you i suggest start out small ride goofys barnstormer first its fun and not scary at all if you like that then try big thunder mountain railroad and just keep working yourself up. you'll be glad you did

my best friend was terrified of rollar coasters but I brought her to Disney and the first one I brought her on was Goofy's Barnstormer, she didn't really care for it that much but then I brought her on EE and she LOVED it. and her new favorite ride is Space mountain we rode it like 3 or 4 times in a row!

Goofy's Barnstormer.
Space Mountain.
Big Thunder Mountain.

Most of Disney's roller coasters are pretty tame.

there's rock'n'rollar coaster it does go upside down but is not that bad after you've been on it my friend is the same he is scared of everthing not just rollar coasters but once you get him on the ride he loves it and rides it again and again

I love rollercoasters. The bigger the better in my opinion ;)

I guess most rides in WDW are alright. Not many go upside down. The worst rollercoasters are at Islands of Adventure which is next to Universal Studios. The Hulk and Duelling Dragons are the two biggest coasters there, with tonnes of hoops.

But in WDW, theres more... Attractions than rollercoasters. Tower of Terror for instance is like a "bounce" sort of thing instead of a rollercoaster. There is also a lot of simulator rides, for instance Mission:Space and Soarin as well as Star Wars and Dinousaur.

Expedition Everest I dont find that bad. It does go a little dark for a bit, but nothing major, and it does go backwards, but its not terrifying.

Your best bet for more information is to maybe have a look around the net for information on all the rides. Or maybe visit YouTube where tonnes of WDW'ers have filmed their time on the rollercoasters. ;)

Good luck. And I'm sure when you get there you will love all the rides.

You would probably fine going on the Barnstormer, Big Thunder Mountain and Space Mountain.

I love all roller coasters. My fav is the 'X' at Six Flags Magic Mountain.

I'd agree with Space Mountain. However, if you don't like the dark, do not ride it.

Thanks everyone for all your help! I'll try most of the one's posted here, I'll probably be fine if I go on with my cousins. :goodvibes

all i can say now is just try it if you don't like it don't go on it again atleast you can say you tried lol:goodvibes

Space mountain isn't that dark. I could see the other train. I really don't think its that intense of a ride.
